If you click the image on the top right you will be directed to other page where you can choose subscribe now to your google, yahoo, aol, netvibe etc account. Its working for me, if it doesn’t contact us.

Good post indeed, very helpful for designers. The only problem is that sites like these are removing the livelihood of professional photographers. I believe there should be a minimal fee, a few dollars, so that photographers can make some money at least.

Flickr’s advanced search http://www.flickr.com/search/advanced/ and check “Only search within Creative Commons-licensed content” and for safety “Find content to use commercially”

Not intended exactly for designers, but for media and editorials, http://livepict.com is a huge collection of concert and music events photography. The images are free under a creative commons license. You can download the images at very high resolution too.
